Presenter, Community Connection Session
Our founder Jason Cummings presented "Doing the Work: AI Readiness in Mental Health Care" in the conference's Community Connection Session, hosted at the University of Michigan by MIDAS.
Vice Chair, Board of Directors
At the meeting, Jason was elected Vice Chair of the nonpartisan Civic Federation's Board of Directors. As Co-Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee, he also presented the FY2027 slate of incoming directors and officers, which was approved. The committee's new nomination process honors the organization's purpose and existing relationships while seeking mission-aligned leaders from industries new to the board.
Panelist, AI: The Great Equalizer or the Next Economic Divide?
Jason spoke about how a business moves from AI curiosity to AI strategy by applying the same due diligence people use when choosing a new app, at a much larger scale. Before adopting a tool, he recommends three questions: Do we know what job we are giving it? Can it do the job? Are we willing to make the adjustments needed to get value from it?
